Current position available: Security Guard/Monitor

The North Chicago Public Library is currently seeking to fill the position of Security Guard/Monitor. Within the frame work of established policies and procedures the incumbent assists the library staff in maintaining a safe and secure environment for service to the public which consist of the adult and youth departments. Protects and maintains the library’s materials and property.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of two (2) years security related experience. Ability to pass through background screening.  Reports to Library Director.
